In the morning, like most Sundays. I went out to the Matsuyama Baptist Church. After service I was talking to one of the Ehime students I usually talked to and cleaned with, and we took a picture tomorrow. Irresponsibly of me, I don't quite remember his name. But I think it started with an S. There's pictures of us below!
Since I was in the area, I planned to visit the agricultural campus, AKA Tarumi. Kim met me there.
We met up and looked around. There were several dance groups, so we checked that out for a little bit. There were TONS of our classmates around at stalls. Kim and I did a scavenger hunt which was really hard. We had to go through the classroom building and answer tons of questions. Some of them were pretty hard, and even with a translator app I couldn't understand them. Kim also showed me his classroom, which had a view of the Kobo Daishi statue. I don't quite remember the results of the hunt, sorry! But we had fun.
We just walked around after that, Kim introduced me to all of the animals. Then it was time to try all of the food. We first got some shaved ice. Mine was strawberry, with TONS of sugar dumped on it. I had to sit and fight that thing for a while. While we were struggling, the table we sat at gave us a chance to meet that campus' mascot, Agrin. The green, something? I don't know.
Next up was hashimaki. Basically, it's okonomiyaki on a stick. It was just as good, and I met my clubmate Yuka. I think Junsei was also there. Lastly, we wanted to try the churros from the Moe Club. It was funny because they had run out and only had enough to make one more, for me and Kim. I think I got a chocolate churro, and Kim got matcha or something. They put up a phrase on the side of their tent that was pretty funny. It was a play on words of a popular song called "Kawaii dake ja dame desu ka?" The phrase they put up was "Churros dake ja dame desu ka?"
I think that night I met up with Junko, and she took me to Starbucks. I had a mango frappucino, which was really good, and we talked about anything and everything.
