Today we have recurring guests, the middle school group who I showed around Sacramento! They wanted to take me to play badminton and have a barbecue up in the foothills from the city (halfway to the city of Imabari). So, in the morning a couple of them and their mom picked me up and I gave them Ghirardelli chocolate. We drove up the mountain to a huge park, which is maybe as big as one or two city blocks, and we met some of the other students. Of those I can remember were Wakana, and Ran. Some of their parents came over too and thanked me for showing them around Sacramento. While we were playing badminton, whenever Ran would miss it when I passed it to her she would say "I'm sorry!" to which I would respond "It's okay!" People found that funny. Wakana's mom Asuka started barbecuing underneath a little shelter and I don't know what sauce they used but it was really good. Even though it was December, it was very sunny out so it didn't feel that cold.
That evening, I decided that I would try cooking for the first time while I've been there. I decided to make chicken fajitas, without knowing how to make them. It didn't turn out great but I still ate it.
Here were the ingredients: chicken breast, red bell pepper, and taco seasoning which I brought.
