Some students (including one who came to English hour named Yurina), representing the school, were planning an on-campus event modeled after the current Osaka World Expo.
They had the group's students divided up into countries that represented the university's international student body. I was one of the few international students who was straight up invited to help out. I wouldn't be planning anything, just assisting with research on the USA.
On the day of, (the 20th), I put on all my World Expo stuff and went to help set up. We were all assigned to a different table where we did activities together, and then went around the room to do trivia at each table. I stayed at the USA table and assisted with the trivia.
When it was over we all went to sit back down and watched another fun presentation, then it was over. I helped clean up.
The picture I have is of some blinds in the cafeteria. I guess students don't sit next to people they don't know, so the school put up these dividers so more people will sit at the same table.
