It turned out that my professor and seminar class were planning an end-of-semester party like the other one we had in February. The CRI stands for the faculty name "Collaborative Regional Innovation."
The whole class was there, and some other students and professors wandered in. They cooked takoyaki again, but someone actually went and brought some Domino's pizza. There were tons of other snacks too, and Tokuoka-sensei brought out some of Fido-kun's jelly.
I'm not sure if it was this day or not, but it turned out that the whole class had made a shikishi memory book for me and decorated it with pictures and messages not just from the class, but some of the other professors I knew as well. It was incredible, I was so surprised and grateful.
When I got back to the dorm, the ant situation was worse.
