The end of the school year is in Spring, so in February. We had our Friday speech class, but this time we were having a very relaxed "debrief" class. I delivered some cornbread to my classmates, teacher, and class volunteers. We talked about a bunch, and had fun. Before class, I wrote "Have a good break" in cursive on the rear chalkboard. At the end of class my classmates went and wrote other things on the chalkboard.
My classmates wrote the following in their languages:
(Thai) ขอให้มีวัน หยุดฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ที่ดีนะฮะ -> "Have a great Spring break!"
(Chinese Simplified) 春假快乐 -> "Happy Spring break!"
(German) Schone Semesterferien -> "Have a wonderful Spring break!"
(Romanian) Vacantā Plācutā -> "Pleasant vacation"
(Hungarian) Szép Szűnetet -> "Have a nice break"
(Chinese Traditional) 假期愉快 -> "Happy holidays!"
Because it was also Valentine's Day, the Deutche Haus bar was holding a special night. So my classmates and I went over there where we were given cupcakes and had fun.
